For me, the wedding season had a much appreciated early arrival this year brightening up an otherwise dreary Easter weekend. 

After weeks of trawling magazines, stores & websites I finally found THE dress to pluck me from my monochrome safety net. A muted plum Kamakura Kimono maxi dress from Nicole Richie's Winter Kate collection which I found at London based store Oxygen Boutique (both definitely worth a look). The dual print vintage silk material draped my frame beautifully, tying at the waist. Perfect for both day & evening. 

Its safe to say I've fallen in love with this dress & cannot wait to wear it again over the summer.
