A Revival
So I've been M.I.A for the past couple of months; partly due to my lack of laptop but also just general all-round lacklustre. I've been frantically following/reading/shopping in hopes that something..anything would inspire even a damp squib of a returning post. But nothing. Not even a 'Yey London Fashion Week'. ...Poor effort!
But here I am. All thanks to a 1950's silk dress I picked up from ASOS Market Place. I know right?! Of all things! I really envy people who can successfully vintage/charity shop. Owning something 40+ years old that's not only stunning & oozes character but that you can pretty much safely say no one else in the room will be wearing, is what makes fashion exciting for me. How competitive!
But I simply do not have the patience to shop vintage. I walk in, do a lap & retire empty handed to go get coffee. I'm the worst. Although with ASOS's Vintage Boutiques it's as if they've chosen all the best pieces in the store & photo documented them in perfect uniform for optimum shopping satisfaction. No infuriating rummaging & it's almost impossible to miss anything. Not only is there vintage but small boutiques selling hand made & up-cycled items... Want. Everything.
